The International Labour Research and Information Group (ILRIG) held a successful Gauteng platform on 22-23 June.
In attendance were various community organisations from the Gauteng province of South Africa – Orange Farm Human Rights, Thembelihle Crisis Committee, Women in Agricultural Rural Movement, Abahlali Freedom Park, PayTheGrants as well as Soweto Simqome Movement.
The gathering took place over two days, comprised of talks, presentations, a workshop around Art of Resistance, performances by participating groups, discussions around issues within communities and much more valuable participation.
The participants also recorded a Solidarity Video in support of International Political Prisoners
