[Webinar] THE RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR: LEFT VOICES FROM UKRAINEWebinar:

Jul 21, 2023

THIS EVENT HAS PASSED. Watch the Webinar recording below.

Since the start of the present Russia-Ukraine War there have been many words – both written and spoken – from left activists and organisations across the globe. However, and particularly in countries such as South Africa and indeed in the global south more generally, the voices of the Ukrainian left have largely been absent or ignored. That must change.

In this respect ILRIG is proud to host a webinar that brings the voices of two activist-intellectuals from the Ukrainian left to the fore. They will speak to the character, role and perspectives of Ukrainian and (where possible Russian) left forces as well as critically engage with the perspectives/arguments related to the war coming from some governments and left activists-organisations internationally, but particularly in the global south.
